This edition consists of more than 600 pages in which each and every one of the mosaics in the Alhambra is covered in detail. Most of the mosaics are tiled, although, due to their interest, some other examples have also been included, such as tiles, mural paintings and even some examples of domestic ceramics. The nature of the work, the result of rigorous and exhaustive research, is eminently graphic and procedural. Each of the designs is analysed with the aim of identifying the patterns that served as a support for their creation in medieval workshops, and the different procedures for their tracing are explained step by step.
